Do questions, interruptions, unexpected events, and emergencies dictate the daily priorities and actions of your organization?  Do you spend more of your time putting out fires than doing your work? Has Crisis Management become the routine rather than the exception?  If you answered yes to any of these questions your organization is in the grips of Management by Crisis.

This course will show you how to recognize Management by Crisis and how to fix it. Through the application of Management by Exception you will learn how to control the number of costly and time consuming exceptions that rise through the organization and require management attention. Excess diversion from exceptions dilutes effectiveness, raises stress and tension levels, and establishes a negative corporate culture.

This cross disciplinary program is a method and style of thought.  It is designed to make you a better senior manager.  Proper application of the techniques presented in this course will improve efficiency and lower stress in many situations in which it is deployed.

Good concepts on how to reduce exceptions with good questions to raise about existing processes. Those who thankfully have access to better technology or who regrettably have to follow segregation of duties may need to consider other alternatives to those suggested.
