Welcome to this course on Key Performance Indicators, also known as KPIs, and KPI dashboards. KPIs improve your company’s performance by increasing:

We explain how they do that in the next lesson. First, what are KPIs and why would you want a KPI dashboard? A KPI is an assessment of whether you’re achieving your business strategy. Each KPI measures an aspect of how well you’re doing on the most critical aspects of your business’s success. A KPI dashboard is a summary report of the status of your KPIs.

In this course, we explain the basics and benefits of KPIs. I then walk you step-by-step on how to pick metrics and targets. Next, we’ll show you how to monitor those metrics with an effective KPI dashboard. Finally, we’ll outline the process for implementing KPIs at your company with tips and insights that I’ve learned over the years.

    Informative course distinguishing KPIs, KRIs, OKRs and explaining the differences between all of them. Distinction between scorecard and dashboard was a new thought as we tend to use them interchangeably.
