The topic of ethics has seemed to permeate every aspect of today's business   operations including occupying a significant spot in today's business and   professional curriculum.  Yet, with all the discussion and awareness on the topic, why is it that significant ethical dilemmas and incidents continue to impact our daily lives?

This series of courses goes beyond the typical ethical course topics.  We often get caught between our independent ethical duty, the legal or compliance viewpoint of an issue and managements concerns surrounding attention and reputation.  In this series, we delve into understanding the concepts behind ethics and utilize that understanding to evaluate scenario issues that may impact your workplace. We take a practical look at the variables involved in creating and maintaining an ethical culture and identify how internal audit can impact those variables.

•    Lessons learned from ethical issues and dissecting the true meaning of Ethics.
•    Ethics 101 – Understanding the psychology behind ethics

•    Examination of scenario incidents and the impact on governance process.

I am always enjoy the course, which is offered by Lynn Fountain. This includes the experience and strong values.

I love the convenience of webinars, and the breakdown of the video presentation in modules, which is great for getting a break to attend to phone calls from clients and questions from co-workers who are trying to get a hold of me. The affordability in price is a nice surprise to me, because in the past, the price of the webinars has been the reason I had to choose the more boring and reading-intensive "self-study" to meet my HR's reimbursement limit on CPEs...

I enjoyed the course - it was well presented and the topics covered were very enticing. It shed quite a bit of light on the importance of ethics in an organization, the role of management, and our responsibility as employees and members of that organization. I also like the ease and calm with which Lynn presented the lesson.

One of the more sophisticated webinars on the topic. Ethics in the real-world can have plenty of grey and that is noted in this presentation. It is up to each of us as business professionals to promote a healthy business environment that encourages investment and participation.

I appreciated supplying the history of ethical scandals all the way back from Enron which led to the discussion that ethics is and will always be an ongoing issue. I also agree with using technology in order to help prevent ethical scandals from occurring.

Lynn is a good presenter who grabs your attention and keeps you interested. She is best when she reviews the slides, but not word for word as her detail and description of the issues is what keeps me from zoning out which is common in CPE for me.
4
Anonymous Author
I think that the variety of topics was great, and it was very interesting to see the timeline of ethical issues. If this course could be updated to account for significant events in 2015 and 2016, that would make it even better.
