This course was very informative and helpful. However, there was a slight confusion regarding the course supporting materials. For example 'Case 1 Exercise File" was referenced as Excel, but the actual file was a Word document. Apart from this, I will definitely recommend this course to others.

This textual analysis subject is new and interesting to me. However, the steps are not clear and there is a better way to summarize the data in Excel. Wish the case study were demonstrated during the course including the analysis of the results.

Good information but it was difficult to follow since I am not familiar with the Excel functions being used in the demonstration. I would like to see examples as the steps are discussed completed in the lesson.

I love how it gives a breakdown of the steps for taking completely unstructured data and organizing it so it is easier to read and analyze. This is something I can see doing on a regular basis.

Course was straight-forward, to the point, and relatively easy to understand. Getting all of the words into one column as presented by the instructor for the example was a nuisance.

3

It would be better to present the course in a detailed example rather than outlining the process, which made the technique a little elusive. Thanks for Mr. Michael‘ work.

3

This would have been significantly more useful had the instructor actually walked through the example in the presentation in excel, instead of just reading the slides.

To complete the exercise takes a very long time to sort through Excel. Perhaps provide the .doc and a .xlsx that has been pre-formatted to speed things along.

This course was difficult to follow for those without a background in data analytics. It would be nice to be able to watch the instructor perform the tasks.

A good introduction to data analytics, but as previous reviewers have noted, it would have been helpful to see the actual process versus hearing about it.

Very useful. I will be able to use this for my internal audit function data analytics training for future analysts. Thanks for putting this together

This class was a very basic intro for those who are completely new to analytics but does not really provide any depth for those who are experienced

Case studies make great CPE classes. It's really refreshing to do something instead of just listen to a bunch of videos. This was a good course.

Interesting topic. Presentation would be improved if the Excel worksheet were being illustrated in parallel with Mr. McDonald's narrative.

I like the hands on learning with the case study since it allows me to go through the motions instead of just writing down steps.
