James is a rare mix of management consultant, change specialist, adventurer and motivational speaker. He speaks to audiences worldwide, helping them raise their performance to match their potential. He has been teaching leadership and peak performance for the last 17 years. Originally from Canada, James first career was in ministry before founding The James Robbins Company LLC to help organizations increase their productivity and lower their employee turnover.
In 2012 James wrote Nine Minutes on Monday; The Quick and Easy Way to Go From Manager to Leader. The book went on to be named the 2012 Business Book of the Year by Canada’s Globe and Mail. It has since been translated into Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish. In 2013 the United States Government recognized James as a person with Extraordinary Ability under their National Interest Waiver program, which grants residency to individuals it deems an asset to the nation. While James loves planning new adventures, his greatest expedition is being married to his wife Kelly and raising their three teenagers. James lives in Saint Augustine, Florida.
