In Part 1 of this course, we explore QuickBooks product lines, categories, versions, and features; network or standalone setup issues; and how to determine if QuickBooks is the right answer for a particular organization.

In Part 2 of this course, we explore how to start the process of creating a new QuickBooks Company Data file using the “Setup” or “No Company Open” window; how to use the EasyStep Interview or the Express Start process to create a new QuickBooks Company Data file; and how to enter company information into QuickBooks.

In Part 3 of this course, we explore the basic elements of the QuickBooks Desktop and Home Page and how to navigate both; how to determine the difference between QuickBooks User and Company Preferences; how to set or customize Preferences; and general recommendations for Preference settings.

This course was very hard to follow. I don't think it's best presented for new QuickBooks users. I will register for intuit QuickBooks courses from there website as I think the presentation is better laid out. In my opinion the presenter should of included the course slides, which could of allowed one to review and reinforce key concepts.

Slow paced diction was an aggravation for this class. Also, so many references to items covered in later classes. This class needs a refresh and a more energetic presenter. Please also take the time to include a pdf of the presentation slides.

Graphics (screen shot videos) were great. Instructor on his own was OK, but not among the best. End of each segment makes mention of "it's time for a quick quiz to check your understanding" but there was no such quiz

Very thorough going through the preferences section. This version maybe out of date as it is the 2015 version, but I expect that the basic concepts will still apply.
