In this course we explore the strategic use of performance management to promote and improve employee effectiveness. We begin by reviewing the theory and practice of performance management including its use to review, assess, debrief and develop employee performance. We then evaluate the use of ongoing performance management processes to clarify performance expectations, set goals and improve employee performance.
This leads to a conversation about difficult conversations and tackling poor performance. The course highlights how performance management will help people feel valued and be clear on what they need to do to be of value to the organization.
