This course focuses on how to manage, evaluate and take action to optimize overhead expenses.

As a heavy visual learner, I struggled a bit with the slides. The slides do a good job showing definitions, but it would be more helpful to show all of the variance calculations with more labeling. There are three slides that have calculations, but one of them is unclear, and there likely need to be several more.

This was academic in tone. People in mfg facilities don't use these terms and this could be improved by making the jargon tailored towards that audience. Frankly, using these terms is what frustrates management about accountants, of which I am one.

GOOD OVERVIEW. Definitely wanna dive more in depth of the different material and do you have some follow questions on how it pertains to my business. But definitely help and is a good starting point.

Some important concepts were brushed by, while others were too thoroughly reviewed. I did learn about production volume variances though and in a services industry, that was interesting.
