This course reminded me of a seminar on mindfulness that I once took. It can be said that practicing gratitude is an aspect of being mindful. There's always a tendency to focus on the bad or unpleasant things (negativity bias), but practicing gratitude highlights the positive, and it's a coping mechanism for stress, anxiety, or depression.
Gratitude and mindfulness go hand in hand. I'm glad mindfulness and meditation we both talked about
