In this course we discuss a structured approach to support individuals as they and their organizations traverse the current challenges of a rapidly changing business environment. Business leaders are required to communicate effectively to avoid conflict and manage an agile organizational culture. We begin with a brief overview of business communications as a key skill and knowledge area in an era where organizations are undergoing big, complex and interdependent changes in a business environment where so much of what was certain in terms of business models, market forces and required talent capabilities have been rendered obsolete. This leads to a conversation about what the barriers are to great communication.
Then we explore some of the communication practices that are essential to effective business leadership. This course serves to re-evaluate the business practices needed to equip business leaders with the capacity needed to navigate post-crisis recovery.
