A strong pitch can be the deciding factor in receiving funding for a new idea, gaining approval for an important project, or securing business from a new client. However, pitching your idea to people who may not know you, your idea, or your goals in a very short time period is not an easy task. Unfortunately, a great idea poorly explained ceases to appear great.

Delivering a crisp and compelling pitch takes planning and practice. Those who do it well distinguish themselves from the pack and dramatically increase the likelihood that their ideas will be embraced. From a career development perspective, few things can help you advance faster than demonstrating strong public speaking and persuasive presentation skills.

This course focuses on “pitching” ideas. It will teach you how to build interest, create understanding, and get people to take action in support of your ideas.
