Course relied significantly on reading through the PowerPoint slides.
It did provide good insight into the different types of boards and what skills, interests and experience would make for the best match. The requirements and commitment relative to each type of board service were clearly explained.
This course is very informative and brought up thoughts and ideas I had never thought of before. I especially liked the section describing the personality characteristics of board members and how they interact with one another.
The presentation did a nice job of explaining the differences between the various types of boards and emphasizing the individuals' strengths on the type of board that is the right fit.
