During an acquisition or merger companies are very interested in revenue, losses, potential for growth and the like. Technology is all too often an after-thought.   In this course we discuss techniques and methodologies for evaluating the new infrastructure, as well as the impact to existing infrastructure.

This course provides you with a checklist of technology items to consider during an acquisition or merger. We walk through a sample assessment and discuss critical points of consideration. Lastly, we discuss control procedures and security measures that should be defined as part of the acquisition risk assessment.

Great checklist to have handy when asking about IT during due diligence. I'm usually focused on the financials and am fairly comfortable with evaluating accounting software, but this course provides a list that could help determine which IT experts are needed.
