Mark W. Sickles is Founder, Chairman, and CEO of SuperOrg, Inc.  SuperOrg is professional services firm providing a three-legged stool of book, service, and software uniquely designed to enable corporate leaders to optimize sustainable value creation.  Mark has served as a C-level executive, board member, advisor, and organizational architect in multiple industry sectors including branded and generic pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, consumer products, durable goods, chemicals, technology, and financial services.  The range of companies includes small, medium, and large-cap, both public and private/family owned. 

Mark earned a B.A. in Political Theory from Georgetown University and a M.S. in Industrial Relations from Rutgers University, where he taught his proprietary management systems, models, and methodologies at the graduate school level and served on a state advisory council for several years. He has successfully completed the Series 7 General Securities Representative Exam, and is a licensed life, accident and health insurance agent.  Mark also holds a Certificate of Director Education from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and Board Director Institute.

Mark serves as a Fellow at the Governance & Accountability Institute and faculty member of DircectWomen.  Former board-related positions include Founding CEO, Board Director, Chairman, and Chairman Emeritus of NACD New Jersey; Board Director and Vice President of Programs for the Silicon Valley Directors Exchange; Board Director, Thirty Percent Coalition; Member, Governance Committee, El Camino Hospital; Board Director, Trestle Group; Advisory Board Member, Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship; Advisory Council Member, Krall Center for Corporate and Executive Education, Drexel University; Advisory Board Member, Prudential Business Ethics Center, Rutgers University; Advisory Board Member, Inside The Boardroom, Drexel University; and Board Trustee at Abington Healthcare Corporation.

Mark’s professional accomplishments are notable.  He designed and managed the business system used by senior management to increase Rhone-Poulenc Rorer’s revenues from $800M to $4B in 6 years, producing 35% annual rates of returns to shareholders.  This increase in sustainable and profitable growth included successful acquisitions.  While working with American Standard, Mark contributed to billions of dollars of increased shareholder value by leveraging his SuperOrg model of great place to work, buy, and invest, and advising management in creating a culture where every employee understood they all had the same job: to create long-term shareholder value.  

Mark is a recognized governance opinion leader, author, and keynote speaker.  As Chairman of the 2009 MENA Region Corporate Governance Congress held in Dubai, he led a group of board directors and governance leaders representing every region of the world in creatingThe Universal Purpose of Corporate Governance,featured in Mark’s second book, Strategic Governance- Enabling Financial, Environmental, and Social Sustainability, to prevent global economic crises in the future.  Mark’s newest book, The SuperOrg Wayfocuses on enabling corporate leaders to optimize sustainable value creation.
