Illumeo Announces

"Illumeo for Educators" Programs

Illumeo, Inc., a leader in professional development and learning for corporate professionals, is proud to announce the launch of the Illumeo for Educators program, with pre-professional curricula focused on both undergraduate and graduate business students. Illumeo for Educators comes in response to a sea change in the way students are learning in the modern world, indicative of a move away from straight lecture and into more varied and cross-modal teaching methodologies. Illumeo for Educators takes advantage of Illumeo’s class-leading business learning platform, hundreds of world-class instructors, and anytime, any device, video-based learning tools.

With a flipped class, students access lecture material outside of class time, which frees up professors and students to spend their time together working on more interactive learning activities. Research studies have indicated that the "flipped classroom" can be conducive to a more effective (and more popular) environment for both students and professors.

Illumeo for Educators’ initial programs are Business Analytics 101 and Introduction to Financial Accounting. These programs were created by university professors with decades of experience both in industry and lecturing in higher education, so as to blend teaching experience with career-oriented expertise. Both programs contain 10 courses consisting of 10 hours’ worth of lecture material as well as PowerPoint slides, case studies, hands-on activities, workbooks, quizzes, and tests, and are available at [student friendly prices].

Whether as a replacement for a textbook or as a supplement to existing lectures and course material, Illumeo for Educators curricula provide the opportunity for universities and other providers of higher education to increase the engagement between professors and students while also serving to deepen the learning experience and provide the practical, career-oriented learning material Illumeo is known for.

Illumeo for Educators is here to make it easier for professors and students to transform their college classroom into a useful, enjoyable, and high ROI, 21st century learning experience.
