Description

It has been said that you can’t hold volunteers accountable – I am going to offer you some ideas as to how you can – recognizing that you must use persuasion and recognition.  Different values, cultures, needs and wants will be discussed so you can identify what works for each of your different volunteers.

This course is for anyone who has been a volunteer, wants to be a volunteer, or has to manage volunteers on boards, committees or in meetings.  You will also find information relevant to managing people at work as well – so this course will be useful to all managers and supervisors in the workplace.

This course is a stand-alone, but also the fifth in the series:  Mastering Board of Directors Participation.
