Listening is defined as the ability to accurately receive and interpret messages in the communication process. Listening is the key to all effective communication. We all know that listening has been part of our daily social lives and it plays a very big role in our day to day living. With the ability to listen, we are able to create communication effectively to our loved ones and to the people we encounter.
We will now evaluate what kind of listener you are.
Once the session is completed, you will be able to identify all the different listening styles, evaluate which ones would best describe you and practice tips on listening effectively.

Instruction before the Final Exam:
- The following exam will test your knowledge of this course.
- You can take it as many times as you want.
- You must have a score of 100% to pass this exam.
- You are required to complete the qualified assessment within one year of the date of purchase or enrolment.
- You must pass this exam to receive continuing education credits.
- You would need to retake the course before attempting the qualified assessment again.
- To redo the course after passing, you would need to reset the course.
- You won’t be awarded additional CPE if you re-take the qualified assessment after passing once.
