Description

Counting characters in a text string is relatively straightforward in Excel. However, it gets more complicated if we need to count characters in a range of cells or count the number of occurrences of a specific character. This session covers how to count all and specific characters in a cell or range of cells. After completing this session, you will be able to apply LEN, SUM and SUBSTITUTE functions to count characters in Excel.
