This lesson examines how blockchain is a valuable tool for improving business processes.  An overview of business process reengineer basics and value chain analysis is provided. Examples of blockchain applications that have been launched to improve and reengineer business processes are shown.

The course also shows how blockchain is increasingly being used as a means of achieving competitive advantage. Fundamentals of competitive advantage and competitive strategy are covered, followed by a case study on a blockchain use case to dramatically improve a major business process and competitive reactions to this new blockchain based service.
