Calculating the average value is a common task. Sometimes we may want to find the average temperature, revenue, performance, etc. This is not limited to the arithmetic mean; we may also need to find the weighted average if dealing, for example, with a supplier or student assessment.

This session looks at how to calculate the average, conditional average and weighted average values.

After completing this session, you will be able to use a range of Excel functions to find the average value.
