Training Design for Behavior Change

Course Access: Lifetime
Course Overview

In this course we discuss both the theoretical underpinning and practical fundamentals of training design for Behavior Change.  We examine how to use group and human dynamic processes to emphasize the ‘self-renewal’ ability of the individual, facilitated movement of groups and improvement of the health and effectiveness of organizations in a sustainable way.

We start with a brief overview of theory relating to Personality and Behavior and how this links to the trainer being a facilitator of learning and the use of experiential techniques to help training delegates apply learning to their own situation.  This leads to a discussion about designing training for people led change, specifically in the areas of freedom of choice, creativity and trusting their own judgment and ability.

This course provides a tool-kit for trainers and Learning and Development professionals to design training interventions that most effectively promote a significant learning experience that if assimilated would result in behavior change for training delegates.
