Theories of Change in Practical Life

This course provides an overview of the powerful and influential heritage of organizational change theories and ongoing developments and evolution. We start with a brief overview of the philosophical foundations of change management and the forces which have influenced how it has evolved. This leads to a conversation about the values, theories, and practices that have supported the development of change management and organizational change. Then we explore how concepts and theories have shaped the thinking and practice of change management and organizational change.

This course serves to examine a range of organizational change research and practice which blend and intersect to facilitate change managers to take actions, which results in positive organizational performance outcomes.
