Preparing for Crisis (Crisis Management)

In this course we explore crisis preparedness and building capacity within the organizational system to be able to prevent crises when possible. This leads to a conversation about effectively containing, recovering and growing from a crisis experience when they occur. Then we explore the necessary capacity that an organization required so that it can perform optimally under pressure.

This course serves to examine how building transformative leadership capacity within the organizational system; individuals with a transformative mind-set and ability; an organizational culture that supports transformative behaviors during a crisis and positive stakeholder relationships provides the resources an organization needs to withstand a crisis.
