Blockchain Advanced Uses and Future Developments

This course covers business blockchains and use cases and expected future developments in the use of blockchain.  In addition to the two primary business blockchains covered in previous courses, this lesson looks at 7 more widely used business blockchains.  The major advantages of blockchain for business use, and some data on blockchain application improvements is provided. 

While most blockchain business use is for process improvement, as covered in a previous course, in this lesson we look at “customer transformation” blockchain applications that use digital identity and other blockchain capabilities to create new ways of doing business.  The future of blockchain business applications is covered. The lesson then offers suggestions on how to keep up with advances in blockchain technology, and use business strategy war games to stress test contemplated blockchain applications.
