Description
About this course: In every business or organisation, gathering information for a meeting is a necessity. As you climb up the corporate ladder, meetings will often be more formal. There will be more agendas, more people and more topics to consider and to follow. As your organisation starts to grow there will be more formal meetings to attend – finance committee meetings, board of directors’ meetings and annual shareholders meetings. These meetings will have a specific agenda, and the minutes of the meeting will be recorded. Remember that when meetings are planned well and run correctly, they can be very productive. In order to have a productive meeting, you have to set SMART Goals. Using this method will help your meetings to be more productive. SMART stands for S-Specific, M-Measurable, A-Attainable, R-Relevant and T-Time-bounded. Today, we’ll be learning more tips and expanding our learning on what to do in formal meetings.
Once the session is completed, you will be able to identify SMART Goals, create purposeful and achievable goals for the meetings, and employ effective strategies for productive meetings in an organisation.
