As a team leader, you should know the company’s vision and mission statement. Your manager will set targets for you to aim for and this will help the company move forward. Your targets will consider quality, cost and delivery (QCD). As a team leader, one of your key roles is to communicate what your team and indeed you individually are achieving.
Performance management is a tool to accurately measure performance. During a performance review team leaders can explore suggestions for better ways of working, better equipment and new techniques. To give a performance review, a leader should use the SMART Objectives. If done well, performance management can be a powerful tool in both motivating employees and enabling their improvement.
Once the session is completed, you will be able to explain the meaning of performance management, identify the key roles as a leader to achieve best performance and adopt useful strategies and techniques on performance management.

- You won’t be awarded additional CPE if you re-take the qualified assessment after passing once.
