Description
If you’re managing a project, you will also be managing some processes that make the project happen. Processes are a series of activities with their own outputs. Like a production line in a car manufacturing plant there will be a process for taking the design to the factory floor, another that puts an engine together and another that puts the wheels on.
Managing these processes effectively is a continuous search for little improvements. Because when things are repeated many times the effect of little changes good or bad can have a huge effect on the output. So that means really getting a good understanding of each process and how they can be made more efficient. As the manager of a project, you will need to identify all the tasks in your processes.
Once the session is completed, you will be able to explain the managing process, identify the elements of the process that need careful management and adopt strategies for managing the processes effectively.
