Description

A common task is to count how many elements satisfying a particular criterion we have in our data. For example, when working with a business cash flow statement with a daily breakdown, you may be interested in how many days daily cash flow exceeded £100.

This session looks at how to use the COUNTIF function to count elements satisfying a particular criterion.

After completing this session, you will be able to use the COUNTIF function to count occurrences of elements that satisfy a numeric or text criterion.
