Take part in this course on Fraud Awareness and Prevention. We’ll cover the key aspects of fraud, including its definition, types, and relevant UK laws like the Fraud Act 2006 and the Bribery Act 2010. We’ll also examine how the Companies Act 2006 and the Computer Misuse Act 1990 help combat fraud within companies and against cybercrimes. During the course we’ll highlight significant fraud scandals like LIBOR, Carousel, and PPI mis-selling, emphasizing the importance of ethical practices and corporate culture in mitigating fraud risks.
