The overall aim of effective working is to plan and prepare for the task/operation being conducted, and to not assume everything is in place, as that might disrupt workflow and have a domino effect on other tasks, this prevents situations where the process is already underway to be halted, due to certain aspects being missing to complete the task, this may lead to delays and an increase in cost.

When we talk about planning, we refer to creating documents and drawings where the relevant materials required for an operation are determined, furthermore, within these visual aids it’ll be handy to have activities in a logical order of completion, so that you know what to do next, therefore understanding the specification is very important. 

All of these procedures are essential to prepare well for a job, and not be backtracked with simple aspects that could have had been planned for, moreover, you need to make sure that a work area is hazard free and is safe for operations to be undertaken in, ensuring the right personnel who have the right training are working where they fit best, having the right documentation, having the right authorisation, housekeeping within the workplace, and filling out any relevant documentation after finishing the process, this includes reporting any damages as well.

Performance reviews are important, as they are necessary to reflect upon the skills and knowledge you already have, and how they can be enhanced.

Feedback is always welcome as it can gauge how well you are doing, and if any aspects need improvement. 

All of this ties in with Continuous Professional Development (CPD), as it is used to illustrate your learning and progression, moreover, if it is used with a structured plan, it can benefit both the employee and employer.

• You must pass this exam to receive continuing education credits.
• You would need to retake the course before attempting the qualified assessment again.
• To redo the course after passing, you would need to reset the course.
• You won’t be awarded additional CPE if you re-take the qualified assessment after passing once.
• Please fill in and submit the survey after passing final exam to get CPE and Certificate of Completion.
