Introduction to Improving Productivity and Profitability

In this course we examine how improving your business’ profitability can help reduce costs, increase revenue and productivity and help the organization to plan for change and growth. We start with a brief overview of the factors that can increase business profitability including the business sector, size of business and its operating costs. This leads to a conversation about locating areas for business improvement, using KPI’s and assessing general business costs to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Then we explore the need to put in place monitoring systems and processes to identify areas of waste and expenditure that can be limited.  This course serves to examining ways to improve existing productivity and productivity to enable the organization to identify new opportunities to expand into profitable markets.
