Risk Assessment and Mitigation

In this course we examine the identification and management of risks within business operations to actively assess and mitigate risks. We start with a brief overview of internal and external risks that exist in business operations management that could lead to undesirable consequences for the organization. This leads to a conversation about how to examine the processes and procedures required to mitigate and minimize the impact of identified risks. Then we explore different approaches to risk management and how these can influence the severity, consequences and impact of potential risk.

This course serves to enable business operations managers to question progress being made in respect to the assessment and mitigation of risks throughout business operations.
