INTUIT: Fixed Assets & Software Capitalization

This course provides an overview of the fixed asset and software capitalization criteria specific to Intuit. 

The course covers the parent component relationship for fixed assets as well as the classification criteria, including hosting and coding methodology for purchase orders.  It also provides guidance on the various roles and responsibilities in the capitalization process and how and when Fixed Asset Accountants can be of assistance.

The Software Capitalization section discusses the policy for software development and the various types and stages of development.
