This is the third course in the series designed to help you – the active board member – master the art of outstanding board development and involvement.  The focus of this course is on the roles and responsibilities of individual board members on many different types of boards.  It, like the others in the series, is also a stand-alone course for those not interested in certification.

This course is relevant for all current board members, those anticipating board participation, trainers, and those responsible for recruiting, orienting, training, and evaluating board members.  It is also relevant for all staff members working with boards.

• The role of the CEO – and the board’s relationship to him/her
• Development and Growth of board members
• Various responsibilities of directors – an evaluation process
