Peter C. Freeman has over 35 years experience in financial management, creating financial infrastructure and raising capital for established, startup, and turnaround companies. He has arranged financings with a total value exceeding $1 billion, including private equity, angel investor fundings, real estate loans, revolving lines of credit, asset-backed loans for equipment and receivables, and wide range of project financings. He works with large and small companies in a variety of industries, including energy, life science, construction, real estate development, software, manufacturing, transportation, financial services, and non-profits.

Assignments for early stage companies include Inktomi, Amarantus BioSciences, Cortexion, and Selena Pharmaceutical. He also held senior financial management positions with Dillingham Construction Corporation, Homestake Mining, British Petroleum, Intel, and Wells Fargo Bank. Peter is the former Treasurer of Dillingham Construction Corporation, a $1.3 billion global engineering and construction company, where he created the Treasury Department, navigated through cyclical downturns, and assisted in planning and implementing a management buyout, including private equity and employee ownership. He has developed financial control systems for numerous companies.

He is an active angel investor and member of the Keiretsu Forum, where he chairs the Clean-Tech Sub-Committee. He is currently launching a start-up company, Global Renewable Energy ENgines (GREEN), which is developing solar energy systems deploying a breakthrough technology in collaboration with LLNL.

Peter received a MBA in Finance at the University of Chicago, a BA degree in Economics from Amherst College., and holds Series 63, 65, and 79 securities licenses. He is an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Accounting with the Golden Gate University Graduate School of Business.
