Gabor Turschl
Alphabet Technical Accounting
Gabor Turschl leads Alphabet's Technical Accounting group. His team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Company's global accounting policies (US GAAP and IFRS) and working with product and internal groups across Alphabet to determine the accounting and business implications of new and emerging transactions for all areas, including revenue recognition, expense recognition, real estate, consolidation, compensation, and various other accounting matters. Additionally, Gabor’s team monitors ongoing accounting pronouncements and developments issued by the FASB, IASB, and SEC, and works with the regulatory authorities to provide stakeholder feedback. Prior to his current role, he was a Senior Manager with PwC’s audit practice in San Jose, CA focusing on software and internet clients.
Andrea Campion
Alphabet SEC Reporting
Andrea Campion leads the SEC reporting team ensuring Alphabet files complete, accurate and timely financial statements with the SEC. Her team is responsible for maintaining up to date for disclosures, in particular for new transactions, changing business models and new regulatory requirements from the SEC and FASB. Andrea's team is also responsible for assessing errors under SAB 99 as well as determining our segments and reporting units. Prior to her role in SEC reporting Andrea spent almost 16 years in public accounting at PwC, including two years in the National Office where she provided consulting advice in technical areas such as revenue recognition, income tax accounting and stock-based compensation. After PwC she went to LinkedIn where she led the Advertising revenue team and revenue integrations.
