Mark’s finance background started with traditional accounting & analysis roles, but really built experience with an ‘outside-in’ approach by becoming heavily engaged in revenue generation, marketing, operations and M&A – with his roles and assignments taking him to 140+ cities in 15 countries. Along the way, Mark has served in roles in business development and marketing, which further helped to deepen his business view to become a better finance executive. He often shares the view that ‘finance is the punchline, with sales and operations being the set-up’, and that to be a good finance executive that you must work to understand the business like the CEO.

Prior to RBA, Mark held a global marketing role at SAP, focusing on cloud-based offering for customer engagement, commerce and finance. He was a start-up CFO for 5 years working across multiple industries, SVP Finance for the Royal Bank of Canada’s U.S. Wealth Management division and International Finance for Carlson Wagonlit Travel.

Khoa is in charge of live event operations at Illumeo and has led the preparation and execution of hundreds of live events on various finance, accounting and related topics across the Office of the CFO. You could say his job is a lot like learning finance and accounting for a living. Khoa is primarily responsible for ensuring great content, delivery, and learning for each of Illumeo's webinars and live events.
