This course is designed to help you use Excel more effectively. David teaches primarily from Excel 2010, but covers differences in Excel 2003, 2007, and 2013 where applicable.

Convert Excel 97-2003 files to modern workbook formats with ease.
Quickly clean-up accounting data by way of Excel's Text to Columns feature.
When Text to Columns won't do, use the LEFT, MID, and RIGHT functions to extract text from a cell.
Transform text by way of Excel's UPPER, LOWER, PROPER, and TRIM functions.

David H. Ringstrom is a CPA and owner of Accounting Advisors, Inc., an Atlanta-based spreadsheet consulting firm that he started in 1991. David speaks at conferences on Excel and presents scores of webinars each year. He is an author and served as the technical editor for over 30 books on accounting software. Some of his freelance articles on spreadsheets have been published internationally.
