Whether you have held a management position for several years or are just transitioning to a role which requires you to manage other individuals, you will find that becoming and remaining a good manager is often an art rather than a science.

To be a good manager, there are many skills and techniques you must learn to employ. You may have attained your position by displaying your technical skill level, but executing as a manager and leader requires a varied set of skills and personal attributes.

This is the first course in a two part series that is designed to help both the new manager and the experienced manager excel in their roles. This session explores the goals and traits of managers, as well as how to make the transition to manager.

Another good course by this instructor. In this course some of the material seems like it covers the obvious about being a good manager but as we know there are plenty of managers that are not skilled leaders. This course can help anyone to identify what skills and traits make the best leaders.
