In this chapter of Mastering QuickBooks we explore several editions of QuickBooks: QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks for Mac, QuickBooks Pro, QuickBooks Premier, and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions.

Each edition includes basic features such as check writing, paying bills, entering sales and making deposits, and additional features and capabilities to support your growing business. As an additional benefit, QuickBooks Pro, Premier, and Enterprise Solutions share a common look and feel. QuickBooks Premier and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions are also available in industry-specific editions.

We also look at the basics of setting up your QuickBooks and what it takes to quickly get up and running, and we discuss one of your most important decisions: whether to use online software or desktop software.

Introductory level just to show the primary QuickBooks look and edition options. Not a lot of detail, but enough to show the basic navigation within the program. Some of the flexibility is also discussed/shown.

Good overview/intro - it highlighted the basic functions and what I should pay attention to when working in quickbooks. I haven't used QB in a while and I needed a refresher.

The course is just a brief introduction. The course materials are not detailed enough and does not include the instructions of various features of Quickbooks.

Just received a message from a local QB online version supporting company: Intuit is "sunsetting" desktop versions. As a small business, we used Account Edge in the past years. Now shall we consider QB Online, or desktop? We are holding on 2016 desktop from installing. The software also has QB online converstion functions. Thank you for your advice.

That really depends on your businesses needs. I would recommend calling QuickBooks at 1(800)446-8848 and they'll be able to assist you with this.
